Cooking two pork joints - double the time?

Hello,

Got family coming round on Sunday so doing a Jamie Oliver roast pork recipe but could not get the massive size joint he specified so have got two smaller ones.

Do I double the cooking time or just add a bit extra? Really want it to be nicely cooked with crunchy crackling!

A lot less cooking time, surely?

Sorry I mean I got two smaller ones that roughly make up the weight of the one he specified.

Yeah, I get that.

So if you needed a 2kg joint but instead got 2x1kg then you just need to check the cooking time for a 1kg joint. It'll be a lot less than for 2kg.

The oven doesn't care that there are two joints unit rather than one.

Half rather than double. You need to cook it at whatever time the small joint weighs.
