I made porridge last week for the first time in my slow cooker and it came out very thick (didn't follow the instructions so had to add more milk afterwards) but really creamy. I did it overnight so it was all ready in the morning.
I did lemon curd in it years ago and that was really nice. (Should say with the porridge and lemon curd, I did them in a small bowl and filled the slow cooker 1/2 full with water).
The only thing I've found that hasn't worked for me is Christmas pudding. I can have it on for days and still don't think it's cooked!

Autumn Pork - got this recipe somewhere online and made it yesterday forthe first time - we loved it!

.5 onion per person
.5 med sweet potato per per person
pork chop per person
apple per person
brwon sugar
cinnamon
apple juice or cider

peel and slice onions - put in bottom of slow cooker, ditto sweet pots, sprinkle with tsp or so brown sugar,, little cinnamon

pork chops on top, then layer of peeled, deseeded and sliced apples, brown sugar and cinnamon again

add apple juice or cider to 1/3 way up the ingredients - cook for 5 hours or so.

I used a bit too much liquid, so ladled it out and reduced it in a pan at the end. Was delicious and very easy - no sealing or frying off needed.

Hiya

I've got HUNDREDS of low far slow cooker recipes that I'd be happy to email you. They're already WW pointed but they are american recipes so you may have to convert some of the measurement, which usually isn't a problem.

I'm new to the site and not sure what you guys normally do re posting email address, etc. Let me know if you'd like them!
