Can.you freeze baked jacket pots?

You must be able to as you can buy them that way, but don't know if you do a magic thing with them first...

yes, but why would you? If we didn't eat them, as baked pots, I would slice them and fry them.

So I could do them in advance for busy days (just gone back to work and have 8mo DS). Or would they be better just popped in the fridge the night before?

They take 10 mins in the microwave, I can't really see that it would be any quicker to have to defrost them and heat them up.

True but I'm not a fan of them done in the microwave, plus mine is hidden away in boiler cupboard as we never use it, so is a bit of a faff.

To my mind, never as good heated up. The flavour is so much better first time around.

Course you can, I used to do them in bathces with the innards scooped out and mixed with natural yoghurt, really yummy and froze brillianty. I just wrap them in foil to freeze and they are ready to shove back in the oven

Ahh twice baked potatoes with cheese, didn't think of those! Do you defrost first or just throw in oven from freezer?
