Meal suggestions for a picky toddler

I've run out of inspiration! She currently lives off pasta, toast, fruit and yoghurt. Maybe a fish finger or a baked bean if she's feeling adventurous Hmm. Everything else gets pushed away.

She won't eat rice, soup or roasts and seems to have gone off mash. Someone suggested AK's chicken & apple balls but she turned her nose up at those too. Any suggestions, other than completely giving up?

You don't say how old she is but is she old enough to help with simple cooking or preparation in the kitchen. She might be more inclined to eat it if she was involved in its preparation especially if you praised her for what a good job she had done.

She's just turned 2. She does help sometimes, but it makes no difference. She just plays with the food before pushing it away. I do try her again with the same things, but no joy. She sometimes eats with older siblings when they are around; she wants to be at the table and have the food on the plate but won't touch it! Oh, except tomato ketchup and butter. Grr.

Ds a little but younger but likes dipping things - so rice cakes and humous, guacamole, etc also slices of avocado!
Also. I make muffins from the blw cookbook - spinach and cheese or carrot! Se if you can find the recipes online. Have you tried simple omelettes too!

Watching with interest. DD (2.5) used to eat anything at nursery. Now she lives on toast, fish fingers and chips and bananas. Which is funny because my parents say that's all I used to eat.

She sometimes loves jacket potatoes and peas and faggots but then she'll hate them.

New childminder doesn't seem to have much interest in healthy food so I need to start thinking of packed lunches

Muffins are a great idea! I'd forgotten about them.

She no longer likes avocado or houmous. Or omelette! She still eats peas but spits the skins out.

My DS is very fussy, would live off plain pasta or chips if I let him. Some recent successes -
Flat rice noodles with either satay chicken or beef/broccoli sauce
Sweet potato chips with piri piri chicken
Chilli with tortilla chips and cheese (ie nachos)
Multi veg muffins
Salmon fish cakes in breadcrumbs

I totally understand OP. DD currently eats maybe three meals and all fruit. But no bread or stew or curry etc
Currently we are down to spag bol, made with lots of hidden veg, some chicken livers and pancetta. I find if I cook it on a low heat for hours the meats just sort of melt and are easy for her to swallow.

Egg fried rice is good for hiding veg in too.

Also if fish is acceptable try a fish bake, with veg covered in oil, then fish with some sliced potatoes on top?

It's so frustrating when they are like this! Confused

Forgot to say DD won't typically eat rice either but Egg fried rice made
with a little stock to keep it moist is treated differently!

Also what about pasta and homemade pesto - easy to up the quantity of nuts, cheese and oil to get
some extra calories in.

Hotdogs?
