What to dip in baked Camembert?

For some bizarre reason I've had a sudden craving for baked Camembert with dippy things to dip in it.

I've never even had it before, so why I'm craving it is a mystery! Confused

So far thought of garlicky bread, breadsticks and carrots. What else could I use?

Hmm IME mousse effect means:

  • overcooked
  • cheese getting on a bit, it seems to go runnier better when it's not been sitting in the fridge too long in our house

Also we have found that some brands do better than others.

Branded ones seem to do better than supermarket own. President ones we get a lot they come out well.

I appear to have hit on my expert topic on this thread Blush

Fennel is truly delicious.

Or endive.

Thank you all for your replies! All sounds lush Smile opted for roasted garlic spread on buttery bread, was yum besides the cheese-mousse lol.

Admittedly they were both cheapy supermarket brands Blush and baked them for 15 mins @ 200C, but they weren't even really hot which made me wonder if they were just undercooked. Will have to try again with a branded one Smile

I usually bake mine for 20 - 25 mins depending on the size.. It always bubbles up and is really gooey when served. We eat ours with fresh baked baguette 😘
