DS1 has come home with a bottle of "fruit cola" purchased from the school canteen (secondary)
The ingredients are 50% fruit juice, carbonated water and a long list of additives and sweetener. It is also marked "One of your five a day"
Really, how can that be a valid claim? I'm sure it does meet the criteria or it wouldn't be on sale but how can that be right? How can such rubbish be sold in our schools as "healthy"?
