Ooh, so many! Chicken chettinad, coconut prawn curry, slow cooked lamb dopiaza (those ones just from memory)

I want to make the little dumplings & the chilli stuff you dip them in.

It's going to cost a fortune isn't it. I am determined to make a better curry than the takeaway dh used to use, with no hand washing facilities in the staff loo.

I checked the health and safety report on them Angry

Get the spices from an Indian shop, much cheaper. Miles better than a takeaway!

Once you have the spices (from Indian shop or online) it's much much cheaper than a takeaway and better. My curry loving DH finds his previously favourite Indian a disappointment now :)

Our favourites are chicken chettinad, chicken vindail, lamb Rohan josh and aloo dum. Oh and tandoori chicken

Yy blues, we are always disappointed with takeaways, much prefer my curries!

Not sure if in his book but I made the Raj Curry from his tv show, the one with coconut in it and the DCs thought it was fab.

I love this book, and have tried out quite a lot of the recipes. Mine and DP's top three so far have been the chicken passanda, chicken vindail and the vegetable mahkawala. The latter is definitely the best vegetable curry recipe I have ever found.

I made the Kati Rolls a couple of weekends ago, and they were a bit fiddly but very good, a bit different and really tasty. I think next time I'd cut up the meat smaller and just fry it in a pan fajita-style rather than fiddling about with cooking it on skewers the way he suggests.

I find his recipes fiddly and ingredients difficult to find.
