Where can I buy "unsweetened chocolate"?

I have found a wonderful recipe for brownies using no flour or sugar. But it uses 200g of 100% dark chocolate. In America, they call this unsweetened chcolate or bitter chocolate and bars of it are readily available in supermarkets. Here, I could only find Willies 100g block in waitrose which cost £5. I did buy it and made half the recipe and it was fabulous, but there is no way I can justify the cost again. Sooooo.....any ideas where I can get similar cheaper?

I will try it with cocoa powder. I think there is something about the coarse ground texture of the block of chocolate in the food processor that works for these, but perhaps the powder would be fine, thanks.

Sainsburys. Don't have the details, but our daughter brought us some bars (she is anti sugar) on our her last visit home.

You can get sugar and dairy free chocolate from Waitrose and health food shops (black wrapper with coloured circles on it but I forget the brand name). Not sure if it's sweetened with another sweetener though? I think most sugar-free chocolate here would be artificially-sweetened diabetic chocolate, so cocoa powder might be best.

3 Tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder plus a Tablespoon of cooking oil or melted butter, mixed into a paste, equals one ounce of unsweetened baking chocolate. But I wish unsweetened baking chocolate was sold everywhere like in America. It's the top thing I miss.
