Freezer ideas for 10 month old

I'm going back to work next month. DS will be 10 months old. He's not a fussy eater but I seem to have got stuck in a rut with what I feed him. He's mainly BLW but will also let me spoonfeed him (if he likes whatever it is I'm feeding him). I'd like some good ideas for meals which I can stock my freezer with now (or whip up v quickly in the evening when I get in from work). I've already got bolognese sauce, fish pie, shepherds pie and tomato sauce (for pasta), and various kinds of stewed fruit on my list. Any other reliable stand-bys people can recommend to make the transition to full time work a bit easier?

I'm not back at work yet, but I'm trying to stay in the habit of cooking batches of things for my son who is 9m.
Today I cooked a batch of lentil sort-of daal:
50g red lentils
2 carrots, chopped finely
1 big sweet potato, chopped finely
1 stick of celery, chopped finely
1 big onion, chopped finely
400ml water (or non-salt stock)
1-2 tsp garam masala (depending on what they are happy with)
1 clove garlic, chopped finely

Fry the carrots, onions and celery in some oil for 5 mins. Add the sweet potato, lentils, water, garlic and garam masala. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat to a gentle simmer, cover and cook for 20 mins or so, until liquid absorbed. This amount has filled 3 ice cube trays.

Also, I do mixtures of veg so I can just cook a piece of meat to go with it without having to think of the whole dish:

Peas, leek and carrot is a nice combination - just chop 1 leek, 2 carrots and put in a frying pan with a load of peas, about 1cm of water and some tarragon, then braise until softened. I usually puree this before freezing.

Today, I also did a variation on the above using mushrooms instead of carrot and added parsley instead of tarragon.

Chicken liver, onion, potato and carrot casserole - mega cheap and full of iron.

Non-tomato pasta sauce, using red onion, garlic, oregano, basil, mixed peppers, carrot, squash and celery.

Turkey, mushroom, pea and celeriac casserole.

Ooh lovely, thanks greta for the ideas. The daal sounds like DH and I could eat it too!

Any more?

My mum made a big veggie cheese at Christmas for DD (12months) it was cauliflower, broccoli, carott and romansco in a white/cheese sauce. This froze well, I just added little pasta stars for carbs, and chicken or tuna for protein?

Casseroles and stews freeze well (I think the taste better as the flavours seen to get stronger once frozen then reheated.

Can freeze batches of white sauce then just add to veg/pasta/meat.

Scrambled eggs on toast are a hit with DD and very quick to prepare, I sometimes add chopped ham and veg. Omelette is quick and simple and cheese on toast. DD loves backed beans on toast too.

Yes, we had the daal as well and spiced it up with another separate curry. Another good one for everyone is a mixed bean pie that freezes well:
I use a tin of tomatoes or equivalent of non-tomato sauce and 3 tins of various beans - cannellini, black-eyed and chickpeas for example.
Just fry an onion for 5 mins, add the sauce, beans, some oregano and basil and 1 clove chopped garlic and simmer for 20 mins.
Make some mash using either potato, or I also use mashed parsnip and broccoli.
Put the sauce in a dish, top with the mash and bake for 20 mins until it starts to go crispy and golden.

You could make a batch of burgers - meat, or veggie (chickpea, kidney beans) and freeze them. Also, batches of meatballs.

Lasagne freezes well.
