Thanks everyone for your suggestions. (Sorry cannot find my original post) Went to Marks & Spencers - filled the freezer up with food for one and kiddie meals. Felt really chuffed with myself.
She took a mouth-full of lamb casserole and decided to tell me then and there that it made her sick. She did not fancy meat or fish anymore! As a vegetarian I should rejoice but she won't want what I eat either!
For the moment she is on either onion or tomato soup twice a day. Not really happy with that as the only veg she is getting is what it is the soup. Mind you she has never enjoyed chewing food (does not wear dentures so it is not that).
When I think of the times I was forced to eat something I did not like I could scream! Still at least I could whinge to my brother who has a similar problem with my young neice. I did ask if he would consider a swap but that would mean him wiping mum's bum so I guess not!
I can now really sympathise with all you mums trying to coax your kids to eat something, anything!
