What do Kindle versions of recipes look like?

Might sound a daft question but how would an illustrated recipe look on a basic Kindle please? Does it show pictures? TIA.

I've heard bad reviews so never ventured there but suffice it to say the reviews of a kindle drain of hairy bikers book weren't encouraging

I have a kindle keyboard so very basic. I haven't downloaded a recipe book but I have had a few craft books. Crochet/knitting patterns etc.
The pictures were very basic like poor quality old black and white photos.

On my Kindle Fire they look exactly like they do in recipe books - illustrations as in the book; recipe ditto.
But it's harder to skim through from the index and I prefer cookbooks in book form. Having said that I have bought a couple for a pound in the recent Kindle deals and am pleased with them - if they become favourites I might buy the book copies.

I have loads of recipe books on my kindle, but I must admit I'm never hugely bothered about glossy pictures in food books... I think if you want to see "what its meant to look like", stick to paper copies Smile
