Christmas dinner pud help

I am designated pudding producer for Christmas lunch at PIL with extended family. Trouble is no one is really a pud person (except me). I think I'm going for a grand marnier and orange trifle for the grown ups as trifle is the only thing I have seen them served/eat at their own home and they like their booze. But I'm at a bit of a loss for the children/teens ages from 2 -15 as the trifle I hope will be a bit too grown up for them.

The disheartening thing I know they won't want anything really but I can't go without anything suitable for the children. Can I?

Or, some ideas for a lovely pud that everyone will enjoy would be very appreciated.

chocolate log?

I'd do ice cream with options: wafers, toffee sauce, nuts, smarties, sprinkles, bananas, raspberry coulis etc put what ever you fancy on the table and let them dig in.

Homemade sundaes is a fab idea. I did that over summer - freeze dried raspberries, popping candy, crushed meringues, chocolate sauce. You can put so many different things out and a couple of flavours of ice cream and everyone can do what they want.
