Do you give your DC pudding after every meal? If so, what do you give them? I have two DSs and two DSSs who are with us every other weekend and finding something that they all enjoy is a nightmare! Tonight they had strawberry angel delight with strawberries - but there was loads not eaten ...... They don't like rice pudding, only two of them like custard, they normally have yogurts at lunch with their packed lunch or sandwiches etc. They are never satisfied with just fruit ..... So I try to give them pudding with added fruit .... But just lacking ideas and want to know if everyone else has to deal with the 'what's for pudding???' before they've even taken their first mouthful of dinner!!!!!!!

We tend to have fruit mostly but make your own dessert is always popular with all ages at our family gatherings - could you create an ice cream or frozen yoghurt parlour with fruit toppings (or fresh fruit sauces?), squirty cream, choc sauce, sprinkles etc? I can remember thinking banana splits were amazing when I was a kid... Maybe get them to make one themselves?

Other than that an easy treat dessert is plain yoghurt sprinkled with dark brown sugar and left for an hour so it sinks in a bit and creates a syrup.

Other popular ones are crumbles, fresh fruit ice lollies (bought, my homemade ones always go wrong) and muffins (we make).
