I have a slow cooker, and a turkey thigh joint. How do I cook it?

Just that really. Due to renovations, I currently have a small oven (part of a combination microwave), kettle, toaster and slow cooker.

I got a bit enthusiastic Blush doing the shopping, and have a large-ish turkey joint to cook. (too big for the one ovenproof dish I own)

Can anyone help me?!

Will the joint segment down at all? Might cook more evenly that way

Thanks both.
I think I'd sort of hoped I could roast it... but obviously I can't brown it first. cogito I hadn't even thought about that.
I think I'll chop it up... I'd add a can of tomatoes, but I can't find the tin-opener!
MrsW kids are going through a fussy stage, and won't eat their food mixed up i.e. in a sauce. It's easier to feed them protein. Then veg. then carbs!

I would have thought you could slow-roast it in the slow cooker. Put it on a trivet of leeks or whatever, add a splash of liquid and let the slow cooker get on with it. The meat will shred rather than slice. Be careful, there are sharp bones in it.
