Which one would you recommend, if any. I'm thinking about bying one but cannot decide if it's worth the hassle yet !

I have the one from Lakeland and it's in constant use. LOVE it! Have saved loads b/c both mine are yoghurt lovers.

do you have to follow the recipes of the book religiously or can you elaborate on them ? how many can you make at a time ? how long does it take ?

I make plain yoghurt and use it for all kinds of things - lots of recipes. Also mix it w/fruit and honey for DD1 and fruit for DD2 (she's too young for honey).

I turn it on at night or when I leave in the morning. It's not a faff at all.

I've just had a look at the lakeland website. Are those sachets widely available or would I have to buy them from Lakeland ? Thanks.

I don't use the sachet one. Mine's electric.

I see... what do you put in it then ?
