Does this nutrition website exist?

I am looking for somewhere I can type in everything my DS eats and it will tell me how far off we are nutritionally so I know what to concentrate on improving eg veg / protein.

My DS is two and quite strong willed about food. I'm not a brilliant cook and find getting good food into him really stressful. My 7 week old baby cries from 4.30 to 7 every night and DS has started really acting up around supper time, probably because he can sense my stress.

Anyway basically I want to see if what I do manage to get into him is ok.

Any ideas if such a useful thing exists? Grin

Don't know about the website sorry but also have a child who is very willed over food.

If Lo is fussy in the evening, have you tried a sling?

Could you make DS main meal at lunch instead of the evening? That might take a bit of pressure off both of you.

What are you doing at the moment when he refuses food?

www.myfitnesspal.com/recipe/calculator

This website does calories, protein, sugar, sodium, fat and carbs. Don't think it will do recommended allowances for children but it might be a starting point.

Yes - it's called the Tot it Up calculator and it's on the Little People's Plates site (disclaimer: it's sponsored by Danone). I'll try to find link.

You can do one day or seven days at a time.

Thanks so much everyone.

Jilted I've been thinking I should make lunch the main meal. The sling doesn't help during that period, I think she just needs to cry! I end up offering him things he will eat and abandoning the cooked food but it means his diet is mostly cold eg bread cheese ham yogurts and fruit.

Sounds really tough why and DS sounds like a bright boy who has quickly worked out how to get what he wants from the situation Smile

Some fussiness is usual in the evening but it might be worth getting your Lo checked for tongue tie Smile

Whyno- can you make dinner early afternoon when eldest ( and hopefully soon youngest) nap? That way it can just be heated and served when everyone is tired in the evening so takes some of the stress away.
