Both would do.
Or grilled on a barbie

I bung mine in a steamer.

You can boil it too. 5 minutes or so fresh. Bit longer if it's frozen. What does it taste like cold though? I have to have mine dripping in butter!

I'm not lighting a barbie now you nutters it's for her lunchbox tomorrow!
i know bbq corn is best but not now aye.

I'd imagine cold corn on cob is ok. kids food is always cold anyway by the time it cools enough for them to et it and munch through it. It's not the only thing in her lunchbox for tomorrow so she won't starve if she blanks it.

Oh well have shoved it over to see how it comes out as only ever boiled it before.

It wpould be good in an eggy fritter.
Have you tried her with baby corn too?
My kid would eat a whole tin of those!

fairydust · 20/06/2006 21:54

in a bowl in the microwave covered in water

ProfYaffle · 20/06/2006 21:55

Corn on the cob = interesting nappies!

Thomcat · 20/06/2006 21:58

Yeah she's got some baby corn in there for tomorrow as well with a dip. Just had some cobs left and thought I'd bung that in ther as well.

If it makes for an interesting nappy then I'm happy she only goes about once a week so I'll live with a corn poo anyday of the week rater than not have one at all.

Boiling, steaming or microwaving makes it juicier, and prob better for little ones. But I personally prefer grilling to get it drier. Loads of butter, salt and mashed garlic.
