I froze a few items of fresh meat back in March. Poultry, salmon, beef mince and so on. For some reason I thought it would last six months, but the packs says to use within one month of freezing, meaning that I've grossly overestimated.
A friend says it depends on the freezer you have, to lengthen the time food can be kept frozen. But I'm really confused now, and embarrassed, that I don't know this.
