Coffee and walnut cake. Mmmmm.
Lemon drizzle cake
Buttercream in a kitchen aid is the best

krazipan · 28/06/2013 19:11

I've had it 3 hours and I've already made a loaf of bread and buns! I'm in love with it! Smile

Chocolate chip cookies and pancake batter are always made in the Kitchenaid in this house. It works great since both recipes require a few minutes of mixing and then rest the batter in between.

Envy
lucamom · 28/06/2013 19:59

Mine is used practically daily. I sometimes stroke it when I walk past!

WinkyWinkola · 28/06/2013 20:00

I love the look of kitchenaids but are they purely for cake making?

Wheresmycaffeinedrip · 28/06/2013 20:01

Me too luc Blush do thinks I'm nuts stroking it

Angelik · 28/06/2013 20:20

ooh is it totally fab? dh and I stare and dribble at them whenever we see them but can't justify the purchase. also think it would get on our nerves cluttering up work surfaces (which I am constantly clearing of junk so it's not like they are super pristine) but they are too heavy to get in and out of cupboard. we keep saying we'll get one when we move. in 5 years time Hmm

in the meantime happy to hear about other stuff you whizz up in your.

krazipan · 28/06/2013 23:42

I've stroked my too luc and caffeine Smile. It was expensive but I'm telling myself it's an investment piece! My DS loves pancakes so will have to whip some up this weekend.

I am another stroker here, we make bread with it every day, plus baking, pizza dough, will do more when I have more time. it is used at least once a day and does not clutter up my side it raises the value of my house.

Bramblesinforrin · 29/06/2013 08:03

Good for mashed potato too.

uggmum · 29/06/2013 08:08

I bought the mincer attachment and I mince all my own meat now. It's much better than shop bought mince.

Pizza dough, pancakes and buttercream come out great too.

krazipan · 29/06/2013 14:28

How much was the mincer uggmum? Do you get a lot of use from it?

OP posts:
Awakeagain · 29/06/2013 14:31

I've been lusting for ages for one

krazipan · 29/06/2013 17:03

I am also in love with mine and it gets stroked too Grin

middleagedspread · 04/07/2013 21:00

I have a pasta roller attachment, which I love, love, love.
It's like play dough for adults.

uggmum · 09/07/2013 09:44

The mincer was about £50 I think. I use it regularly. Anytime I make a spag Bol, burgers etc. any meal that I would use mince.
