Lakeland cake pops maker?

I often make cake pops for the DS's birthdays and various school things and I've always made them the traditional cake-crumbling-with-sticky-stuff way. However, they are pretty sickly and I'm wondereing about the Lakeland cake pop maker.

Does anyone have one? Is it any good. Do they actually come out perfectly round or do they have a 'lip' round them where the two sides meet?

I love mine!

They do sometimes have that lip but if you let them cool you can sort of rub it off.

Once covered you cant see it.

Much nicer than the normal way of doing them.

And they're robust enough to stay on a stick?

I know, but they are cute!

Do you both have the Lakeland one or a cheaper alternative?

I have this one.

Makes 12 in one go and it's pretty good.

I have the lakeland one.

They do stay on the stick. I melt the choc and stick it in the cake then freeze with the stick in.
