Im starting to struggle for ideas of what to cook for my 13mo dd. She's a really good eater and would happily eat all day long. Ive just come to a bit of a halt with ideas.

Does anyone know of any good recipes or even somethingthat i can make for her puddings?

Thanks in advance.

Does she not eat with you bang? Its good that she is a good eater Smile

No not really. We'll have breakfast and lunch together generally. But save dinner for just me and dp later on as he doesnt get in from work until late and dd eats her tea at 4:30pm

Ive found The Baby Led Weaning Cookbook great for simple tasty recipes and it gave me the confidence to give DS spicy food such as chilli con carne :-)

Home made cooked meals that always go down well with DH and DS in our house are things like:

Roast chicken, roast potatoes, and vegetables
Lemon & tarragon chicken with rice and vegetables
Lemon & honey chicken with potatoes and vegetables
Chilli con carne and rice
Spaghetti bolognese
Pork casserole with potatoes, carrots, leeks, peppers in the slow cooker
Tuna and tomato rice with vegetables
Tuna and tomato pasta bake with vegetables

I tend to either save a portion for DS from the evening meal, or alternatively I'll cook in the daytime and serve DS dinner at 5pm and reheat it later for myself and DH.

Make enough for your dinner and hers too and then feed her portion to her the next day for dinner.

So Tuesday she eats your Monday left overs
Wednesday she eats your Tuesday left overs

etc
etc

I give ds2 (14m) lots of bits of food on his high chair tray-he loves it and spends ages eating (which gives me time to get other jobs done) today he had cucumber, chicken, grapes, strawberries, bread and sunflower spread and ate lots.

For dinners he tends to have whatever we have usually casserole, sausages and new potatoes (cut up really small) etc.
For puddings he has alpro yogurts or alpro custard which he loves usually with some fruit.
