Got to cook up a few which have been left in the fridge by H who's gone away. Was about to bung some in a bolognese sauce (probably unconventional), then suddenly worried about poisoning the dcs!!

Is it like cabbage?

More like a musclebound iceberg lettuce Grin

The best way of cooking it, in my opinion, is to stir fry it with garlic and oyster sauce. However bolognese sauce sounds intriguing Hmm

Cut the thick stalky bit into slices about an 0.5-1" thick, and leave the leafy bit in big pieces, like spinach.

Might taste a bit on in bolognese sauce, mind!

Well, we've just eaten the bolognese (chopped the pak choi up quite fine in it) and it was very tasty. It also had a leek and some green beans in, which I realise are also unusual ingredients.

Give it a go if you dare! :o
