used to do a simpler version at uni - so yep, definitely good store cupboard food! (minus the peppers and anchovy fillets). now if only DH wasn't veggie and didn't hate peppers Grin

JoolsToo · 17/04/2006 20:25

that sounds lovely.

Funny thing with Tuna - I never fancy it but when i do eat it I really enjoy it!

puff · 17/04/2006 20:27

yum, I'd bung in black olives too

Gingerbear · 17/04/2006 20:29

and heaps of basil with a teaspoon of brown sugar.

Gingerbear · 17/04/2006 20:29

kalamata olives are The B*llocks

followed by good green olives (preferably queen)

followed by those horrid little manzanilla things with the pimentoes

followed by the jet black ones which taste like plastic dipped in salt water

puff · 17/04/2006 20:54

ooh, my greek cousin brings me lovely ones over, her dh runs a deli/cheese place over there

VeniVidiVickiQV · 17/04/2006 21:19

[eyes rolling emoticon] on about olives again!...

pmsl!

Gingerbear · 17/04/2006 21:56

kalamata - long and purple (ooh err missus) yep. Deffo the canines testicles.

Gingerbear · 17/04/2006 21:57

We don't need to bother Coddy with this smutty talk, she will be all innocently tucked up in bed.....

Flossam · 17/04/2006 22:03

Something a bit similar, tuna, celery and frussili, herbs and pepper in white sauce with grated cheese. Bung in oven for 30-40 mins and all done. Apparently Mum got it from the toddler cookery book she had when I was tiny! No annabella Kamel then! Grin

DH literally retches at tuna.
He had chemo and 'tuna bake' was on the menu frequently.
He couldn't look at green paper for ages - hospital menu was written on green paper.
I just told him about this thread and he shuddered.

Well I've C&Ped it - it does sound like a good store-cupboard meal. Though my Pasta Puttanesca has even fewer ingredients and is my no.1 "oh bugger, it's 5.30, what can I cook?" meal.

cod · 17/04/2006 22:08
