Can you, should you? Are they just like ordinary ones? Can you eat the skin?

Any tips?!

I don't like eating the skin. Just squeeze out the fluffy innards. Or peel and mash?

Or peel and chop into wedges, then bake with a drizzle of oil?

Yes you can, and you can eat the skin as well. They don't take quite as long as ordinary ones - about an hour depending on size, and they get squishy so best to do it on a baking tray. They are, um, sweet so I find it's nice to put sour cream on them once they're cooked to counteract this. They also (because of the sour cream) go nice with goulash, or at least I think so.

You can also roast them in slices with a little oil - that takes about 20/30 mins.

I usually just roast them but then couldn't see any reason not to just bake them whole :)

Thank you

Yes, you can
We love them with smoked mackerel pate.

Ooh that sounds good NettoHoHoHo - must try that.

Here's a good one. Cut them in half, bake for 20-30 minutes or so, until soft, and then dollop with some Greek yoghurt or a little thick cream, and drizzle with honey. Perfect dessert!
