what can you do with rusks?

We've just made some unsweetened rusks from a recipe, but have no idea what do with them. DS is just 7 months and hasn't got the hang of finger food yet.
We think you can crumble them up with warm milk, but is there anything else they're good with?

I would just mash mine up with warm milk and feed it to them like a cereal.

not much. they make a load of mess in my experience, weld themselves to things and are packed with sugar.
all my ds did with them was choke.

crumbled up in yoghurt or pureed fruit. my dd always loved either of these, or dipped in juice to make them soggy enough for a baby to manage

Blossomhill - THat's what we tried this am and he really liked it.

Shaysmummy - I did say I'd made UNSWEETENED rusks! The ones I've made don't have any sugar in them AT ALL!

Tulips - thanks - hadn't thought of that!
