What kitchen scales do you have?

I've got a v old digital scale but I'm fed up with it and its a pain to change the batteries.

I'd really like mechanical scales with a dial. Nice looking one preferably!

Any suggestions?

Another one with a Salter digital 'add and weigh' type scale. Had them years, get used constantly and not had to change the batteries yet. Have had scales with dials but never find them that accurate.

I bought an expensive mechanical vintage looking set and HATE it.

It's useless for baking and very annoying - the only saving grace is that DH uses it daily to make sourdough bread.

I'm about to buy a Salter add and weigh, as suggested by Cogito, as they are truly accurate and perfect for baking.

Salter here too. I love it. Batteries quite cheap online and not too onerous to change.

I've had two sets of Salter digital scales, each lasted 4-5 years before giving up the ghost. So although I loved the design I've now bought some John Lewis ones, but too early to say how they'll hold up.
