Ds is a fussy eater and meal times are often difficult as he just won't eat most of the time without being pushed unless he is fed which I refuse to do! He won't eat potato, doesn't really like rice or pasta but can sometimes be persuaded to eat them.

His dinner yesterday and today is a 2 egg omelette with cheese and 3 heaped tablespoons of rice mixed in before cooking. He ate the whole thing without any persuasion which was amazing! It's hardly a balanced meal tho - but is it ok for 2-3 times a week?

Why not try sweet corn as well my fussy girls like to eat it frozen you could try same with peas.

Any food in is better than no food!

He does like sweetcorn and peas but they don't really add much calorific value. I do
Give them to him quite often thoughSmile

I think it sounds fine

sounds like a pretty good way to get food into him. my little one went through a fussy stage, and seriously all he would eat was sausages and tomato!! so i made a quiche, put them in and gradually worked on it from there. lol. like someone else said, any food is better than no food. sounds really strange, but i used to almost grate the top of broccoli into things.....ds didnt even notice, and at least it was a tiny bit of green!! haha

i love frozen spinach balls. The spinach is cut so tiny it looks like herbs and i sneak them into everything! Omlette sounds great tho and gives me an idea for lunch tomorrow!

I think it is fine, even good. Especially if they have eaten some fruit or veg during the day.

Eggs are good for you, so is cheese. He ate it, therefore it is good :)

You do realise though that the next time you serve it DS will turn his nose up and say he doesn't like it? Grin
