How long do Yorkshire puddings last?

Might seem like an odd question...

I'm planning on making my own Yorkshire puds (rather than Aunt Bessies!) at Christmas. When I've done them from frozen in previous years, I've cooked them and left them out for a while. Yes, they have gone cold (hard to keep a yorkie warm imo) but retained shape. If I'm making my own and leave them out for a bit (say 10-20 mins) are they more prone to deflating right down? Not too bothered if they are a little deflated, just don't want to be left with yorkie pancakes!

What's your advice?

I froze leftover ones a while back.
When I wanted them I defrosted them and threw them I top of the roasties for the last 10-15 mins to reheat. They were great! :)

HTH! :)

Ooh! Hadn't thought about that! Yes, that really helps. Good excuse for a couple of extra roasts as a try-out!

Wonderful, thanks very much Whenisitmysleepytime Grin

Yep

I quite often freeze any leftover yorkies. To use if doing 'quick' roast dinner after school.

Freezing is the way to go then! Bet their quicker, nicer and cheaper than Aunt B's!

Thanks
