I only have a single oven, worried about what I can fit in it.

Was thinking about rolled lamb joints but..is it leg I need? Shoulder?

How much for how many people?

Roast experts help me out please!

Big leg of lamb - shoulder is too awkward to carve. I suppose you'll get more meat with rolled pieces but i think a big leg of lamb looks great.

id say lamb

I didn't think people ate turkey - too close to Christmas for my liking. I only discovered they did today when I saw an Easter Turkey menu in Nigella's Feast.

think big legs of lamb are on special at Sainsburys at the mo but check before you go (if you do)

Have a leg of lamb. Dead easy, just shove a couple of garlic cloves in & cover with a drop of olive oil & lots of herbes de provence. Do a gratin to go with it and some green beans.

Spring lamb (leg) with all the trimmings - yum!

cod · 02/04/2006 21:03

my boys spruned my gratin the other day

FrayedKnot · 02/04/2006 21:04

But is one leg enough for 10?

Actually no it's 9 adults & 2 children.
