Mince in freezer from November - still OK?

Found 4 month old mince, 'of' from a 'bogof' in snow drift at back. Is big star plus three further stars compartment.

Eat or chuck? (shag or die Grin)

I'd use it - unless there was really obvious signs of freezer burn or was all dried out on defrost.

Should be ok for 6 months in the freezer, ive used mince thats been in the freezer longer.
Use it, it will be fine.

You'll know it when you see it, it's a different colour in places, lines like cracks in it and very dried out and unappetising on thawing. Think it has to be in there a fair while to get like that though!

what's wrong with freezer-burned meat? it tastes (almsot) the same when cooked.
