Can you freeze cream?

I regularly freeze supermarket plastic bottles of semi-skimmed milk with no problem but wondered about cream. I have frozen double, single and clotted. I froze it on purchase last Thursday and want to use it on Boxing Day. Will it be OK?

yes it's fine. They do say you should whip it first and then freeze it because it can go a bit funny texture-wise when it defrosts, but it'll taste alright!

DH was not impressed with that one so not tried it since!

The single I froze did seperate and look none too pleasant although tasted fine. The double I whipped after defrosting and that was fine.
