I' stupidly conservative with fish. All I ever cook is fish pie, the kids are super-fussy and I want to experiment a bit more. We have a superb fishmongers in our town.

Please share your favourite recipes too Smile

I've got Huge Firmly-Wittering's book on fish, which has plenty of recipes and also offers advice on buying as sustainably as possible. I like it.

Fred, I was given Marks and Spencers Fish and Seafood Bible but have never used it and i would happily send it to you if you're you would like it.

I've not used it because we don't eat a lot of fish (not because of whether it's any good!)

Mitch Tonks, Fish, is excellent, our fabulous fishmonger swears by it.

Jane Grigson's Fish Cookery. I think it's out of print, but a library might have it. I got a second hand hardback fairly recently.

I'd thoroughly recommend this - good information on different fish and really good, clear recipes.

I like "Simply Fish" by Jenny Baker.
