Hi, I hope you lovely people can help me. I enjoy cooking but I have no confidence when it comes to cooking fish! What fish is best/high in omega 3? And I would like to buy it already gutted as I don't think I could cope with that!

We cook mackerel all the time. You can buy frozen fillets and cook from frozen. ("Fish doesn't get more convenient than this" said in Masterchef style.) Stick under grill. Cooks in 6 minutes or so. Season as you like but my kids will eat it just plain.

Any oily fish is good. Mackerel is excellent. Salmon has a less pronounced taste and tends to be sold in handy boneless fillets. If you're worried about Omega 3 it's also worth getting hold of some cold-pressed rapeseed oil which is very rich in the stuff. Nice on salads.
