agave syrup and other problems

Sorry if this is a clumsy subject description, but I couldn't think of another way of phrasing it...I've just been cleaning out my cupboards and found a bottle of agave syrup. One tsp was used for a Nigella Lawson recipe (not successful) and I don't know what to do with the rest of it - any ideas?
Also, there are recipes of N Lawson that ask for small amounts of alchohol, like green and white creme de menthe for the grasshopper pie. I'd never drink it, or use it for any other purpose, how do you source tiny amounts of this kind of thing? (I've tried finding minatures, with no success)

You can use agave syrup in place of sugar for most things. I use a squirt in tomato-based dishes like spag bol and chilli con carne.

Not directly answering your very good question OP.

You can use it in lots of other recipes, it's useful as a syrup to combat tartness in lots of things. I think ours went mainly in ramen and chili recipes. But then I'm a bit of a compromise cook, if I haven't got the exact ingredients I'll compromise with something else.

it is nice to sweeten your home made granola. You can use it like you would use honey.
