here is a recipe I am sure there are more out there on google! These ones look a bit burnt but apparently are lush!

Shred your cabbage fine (by hand, and do it really fine), mix in a bit of olive oil and lemon juice (+pinch of salt), and you have the loveliest salad. Or pan fry the shredded cabbage lightly in a bit of butter and season w salt/pepper + lemon juice, lovely with fish.

It's worse than I thought... Just back and started puting it all away. There a TWO huge savoy cabbages! Do they think I have goat or something?

But what is wriggly about them? I thought that maybe they had caterpillars or something and it sent a shiver down my spine!

Obvious thing is coleslaw.

Then I'm out of ideas. Google might be your friend here!

SardineQueen · 16/07/2012 13:13

Oh savoy isn't for coleslaw is it!

Try here bbc

Savoy cabbage is nice with bacon. Or you could get a goat and then next week....curry.

It's this one! They are huuuuuge. There is no way I can eat two of these (as I have put DS and DH done for 'no thanks'). I'll eat anything apart non-veggie.

You could dice or shred them and fry them with curry-type spices. Saute some onion first, then add whatever you have - curry powder, or if you have them or can get them cumin seeds, corriander, chilli, turmeric etc. Cauliflower especially goes really well with spices and goes well with rice, or dahl, or diced leftover meat.
