Lunch ideas

Hi I have been trying to be good and organised enough to take packed lunches to work, but suffering a major lack of inspiration!!

I work in the middle of nowhere with no access to a proper kitchen (only a kettle-not even microwave) so need ideas on things I can prepare at home and eat cold or add hot water to... Getting tired of sandwiches, salads and leftovers from the night before...

Any suggestions gladly welcome! thanks Smile

My daughter doesn't like bread very much so sandwiches don't feature very often in her lunchbox. Try salads like potato, pasta, couscous or rice salad for a change from bread. The other thing she enjoys is cracker biscuits with cheese, you can buy those mini cheese wedges if you want a variety of cheese to select from.

The first time I used it (DH decided 15min before left he wanted soup) so it wasn't warmed up properly but he said it was still hot at 4pm when he ate it and I had put it in the flask at 8am.

You have to put boiling water in the flask for at least 10min to warm the flask then will keep the soup hot for about 10hours.

The second time he complained that it was too hot at lunchtime as I had heated it fully and put boiling soup init.
