Eating

My 16 month old was previously a very good eater. He suffers really badly with teething, which meant one particular day he bareley ate because his mouth was so sore. Ever since then he's been really picky and will only eat fruit, yoghurt or various toasted stuff. He diesnt dronk masses of milk, but has a breast feed before bed. I'm worried he's not getting the right nutrition or isn't gaining weight as he should. If any anyone has any advice on how to get him eating a wider and better diet please let me know!

IMO you need to take away the pressure. Offer him a variety of foods, let him pick & choose what he wants to eat. Eat together where possible and set a good example yourself.

Keep up the BF (if you are willing & able) as he will be getting good nutrients from here.

Do you have particular reason to be concerned about his weight?

As children get more & more active their weight can plateau & even in some cases decrease slightly.

If you still have concerns go and see your HV.
