Is saturated fat bad for babies?

So we get told to use full fat milk for babies, and a friend advised me to use greek yoghurt with apple puree instead of petit filous, seem fair enough due to the sugar content, but there is alot of saturated fat in it. Surely saturated fat is bad for everyone??
Does anyone know or can you point me in the right direction. DS is already at risk of the west of scotland diet from just living there do not want to furr his arteries before he goes to school.
TIA

No, I am sure babies need saturated fat. Will have a look for links.

Found this:

"Your baby needs fat and cholesterol to grow and develop. Breast milk contains forty-four percent saturated fats. The only fats she needs to avoid are artificially processed hydrogenated fats."

Babies / young children need fat to satisfy there huge growth rate...

if you give them lots of low fat / sugar etc things then they are full before they have even consumed enough to grow / develope properly..

for the same reason babaies should NOT be given things like all bran / bran falkes as they are genuinely full without having consumed enough to meet their needs to grow!
