breakfast and tea ideas for one year olds

I give the DTs the same breakfast eveyr day - Weetabix and Marmite on Toast. Their lunches are always very varied - pasta/veggies/meat/potatoes/rice/couscous etc. But come teatime my inspiration deserts me again and they end up having baked beans on toast/scrambled egg on toast/cheese on toast in rotation!

Can someone please give me some alternative breakfast and tea ideas.......?

breakfasts:
pancake, yoghurt and fruit
eggy bread or "pain perdu"
porridge

teas:
baked potatos
sweet potato wedges
hummus and veggies and breadsticks
homemade pizza with extra vegetables

When DS was one, he had the same as us for tea, assuming it wasnt too spicy, in which case it would be something Id frozen or saved from the day before.

eggy bread for posh people

(jamie oliver does it with a touch of sugar in the egg mixture sandwiched around mashed banana and berries with a dollop of yoghurt - its divine)

or how about homemade vegetable and/or lentil soup?

omelette cut into strips
soup with crusty bread - they love to 'dip dip' the bread and suck it!
fish (made into fishcakes, baked in cheese sauce, etc)
little salads with cucumber (little cubes), cheese, breadsticks, baby potatoes, little bits of chicken, steamed veg, peas, fruit etc
(im very pro-finger food and independant eating )

DD was 1 a few days ago and LOVE that soup and bread suggestion. She'll love that, why didn't i think of that?
She also loves bolognaise, chicken dinners, bread , grated cheese and thin strips of ham...

will keep an eye on this thread though for inspiration too

little clementines are my dd2's (16mths) favourite

she sucks the juice out and flings the empty bit over her shoulder

my problem is DS needs to eat about 4.30 - 5 at a push. and DH never in before 7. so i feel like i am eternally cooking.
