Fussy drinker

My 10 yr old DSS is a fussy drinker.

He will drink milk, milkshake, apple juice, coke and occasionally, water...but that's it.

Obviously, I'm pleased he enjoys milk and water (at a push!). He hardly gets given coke to drink (apart from when he goes to his nanny's!). However, he also drinks a fair amount to apple juice which has a sugar content (I give him the no added sugar apple juice drink for school lunches).

Anyway, sorry I'm rambling, do you think he's variety of drinks is good enough? How can I encourage to drink others things such as squash? He always turns his nose up to them, tries the tiniest of sips and says he doesn't like it.

Thanks in advance :)

I'll be honest, I don't know what's in squash...didn't realise it wasn't any good! (Don't buy it, so ignorant!)

Just gave that as an example. So what else would be good drinks? Stick to milk and water?

Definitely stick to milk and water! The only reason to give anything else would be juice if he doesn't eat enough fruit and veg, and then I'd give watered down juice as it's so sugary.

Avoid squash like the plague, it's either full of sugar, chemicals or both!

He drinks different things though. He's fine.
