Is there such a thing as a flask that doesn't make tea taste vile?

I keep them clean but it tastes funny when you go to drink it.

Any ideas?

I think it's the milk being kept warm that does it. Can you take the milk separately?

queenebay · 13/06/2012 13:16

Just take hot water in it and take seperate teabags and milk

Take seepage bags and milk otherwise the milk can make it sour

TheCunningStunt · 13/06/2012 13:18

SeepageBlush. Separate.

you get used to it imo,
after years of believing it was vile.
it is ok. add extra teabags.

Catsmamma · 13/06/2012 13:20

not sure that seepage will help the taste! :D

We usually just put hot water in flasks and take coffee and tea stolen from a variety of hotel bedrooms with us.

Hot water in flask. Steel flask.
Take tea bags and milk seperately.

Steel flask, earl grey tea, no milk tastes lovely, just the right strength for 3 cups (750ml flask) :)

timetosmile · 13/06/2012 14:23

another vote for hot water (or at a push, black tea) in flask, and seperate milk!

Steel flasks, tea in one, milk in the other. Works lovely. Though I am strangely fond of flask tea anyway, but it has to have sugar in
