Dried banana

Random question...
What is the difference between the crispy dried banana and the chewy ones? I really like the crispy ones but not the chewy so guessing that means they're less healthy!
Thank you!

You'd have to look at the ingredients on the packet! :)

I get the chewy one in the health food shop. It's just dried banana. I'm now on the lookout for nice chewy dried mango, pineapple and apricot (that is, dried without any additives at all; and chewy enough not to need you to have steel teeth).

I think I remember reading that the crispy kind is fried in oil and has sugar added and a really unhealthy dried fruit (but delicious all the same!!!)

I can't remember the brand, but you can buy in the dried fruit aisle at sainsburys and waitrose, mango and coconut balls, sort of mashed up dried mango and coconut rolled into balls. They are so good!

At our local tesco and also asda they sell a make called urban fruit which is it chewy and just has the fruit and no additives. Not sure if they do banana but i've had mango, strawberry and also apple, i know they also do pear although i've not tried that. The strawberry tastes particularly nice although doesn't look that great... it is £3 for two bags
