That's it really, what can I use it for? I know fudge... I'm hoping for something puddingy...

Feedthegoat, you evil woman! I am now posting from Tesco...

FarloRigel · 26/04/2012 19:14

Felix's truffles except with chopped dried apricots and extra coconut instead of the drinking chocolate and digestives.

feedthegoat · 26/04/2012 19:15

You won't regret it BadLieutenent, I couldn't eat it without making 'mmmm' noises the first time I had it at a friends. I've not dished it up to anyone who hasn't left with the recipe yet!

MerryMarigold · 26/04/2012 19:17

Mmmm...that does sound good feedthegoat. Can you tell me if it is very runny when served or is like a cheesecake?

coffeeinbed · 26/04/2012 19:17

Dan Lepard has a tahini -condensed milk flapjack recipe.
(I ate the lot in three days Blush)

feedthegoat · 26/04/2012 19:30

It is like cheesecake MerryMarigold. It tastes similar too though maybe lighter. You whisk it to a thick creamy consistency and it sets a little more in the fridge.

passivehoovering · 26/04/2012 19:36

Yourself sick.

MerryMarigold · 26/04/2012 19:54

Not sick, but probably a bit fat!

PestoPenguin · 27/04/2012 10:43

Mmmmm. Thank you so much for all the brillant ideas. Key lime pie is the winner for this tin Grin

Don't forget the ginger nuts! Enjoy!

StealthPolarBear · 27/04/2012 11:06

Ok I have tin of condensed milk I have been looking for a use for...soe double cream which needs eating and a leftover half a lime. It seems like fate.

However, I don't like key lime pie! Maybe i should try the ice cream instead?

FamiliesShareGerms · 27/04/2012 20:46

Ok, it's a good job I'm not posting this under my real name, otherwise my friends who believe that I am a really good cook will realise I am in fact a really good cheat...

Chocolate torte
Make biscuit base with 5oz crushed double choc cookies and 1oz melted butter, press into loose bottom cake tin. Melt 1/2 tin condensed milk with 8oz dark choc then whisk in 142ml carton double cream when cooled slightly. Pour over biscuit base and freeze for at least four hours. Serve pretty much straight from the freezer topped with cocoa powder / raspberries / strawberries etc.

Key lime pie - as per feedthegoat, but to make it posh melt some dark choc and drizzle it all over the top (the messier, the better it looks). It's easier to get out of the tin if you press the biscuit base slightly up the sides of the tin.

Sticky crispie bars
Melt 4oz butter with 4oz castor sugar and 3oz dark brown sugar. Add tin condensed milk and 3 tbsp golden syrup. Simmer for one minute. Stir in 3oz rice crispies. Can add eg 4oz raisins, nuts etc as wanted. Pour into greased and lined 8" square tin and allow to cool. Cut into squares. do not eat before a dentist appointment

StealthPolarBear · 27/04/2012 20:50

mmm im going to do that but without the base :o

FamiliesShareGerms · 27/04/2012 22:12

Stealth - the choc is seriously good! Try it in those chocolate dessert cup things (on the ice cream wafer shelf)...

Geordie - yes. Yes you do. (me too)

Smurfy1 · 27/04/2012 22:19
