Yes. They roll all over the floor and then defrost and get stood on.

DS loves them frozen too.

I loved FPs, my kids love them too.
Obviously, an extreme amount might cause some issue by sheer cold, but hard to see that really.

What you've got is ice cream without the dodgy chemicals, hydrogenated vegetable oil and sugar.

One day someone's going to make good money from selling this as a treat

CarolinaMoon · 11/02/2006 18:13

they are lush. I still scoff them by the handful now .

Think they are a bit of a choking hazard for tinies - 3yo is big enough though surely?

Latz · 11/02/2006 18:22

yep used to eat em myself - mind u dd hates peas - might try that one myself

DominiConnor · 12/02/2006 15:23

Frozen sweetcorn is good as well.

Also you can get frozen blackberries etc from your supermarket, just as attractive to kids as ice cream, but much better for them.

Giraffeski - you've got my dd!

My parents are horrified, but then my mum crunches ice-cubes, so what's the difference?

PeachyClair · 12/02/2006 15:49

Ooh I love this too- thought was just me.

In the summer, the frozen packs of mixed berries all supermarkets and Iceland stock are a great alternative to Ice Cream or Lollies, both for kids (additives / sugar) and adults (calories as well).

Yum.

I've also heard of popping bananas in the freezer prior to making smoothies as chills it all right down without diluting ice.

CaptainDippy · 12/02/2006 16:48

Not just my DD1 then - she won't eat veggies unless they are frozen.

Freak.
