No eggs, wil milk work?

So was going to flatten some pork loin and breadcrumb but have ran out so would milk work?

no, it won't, because the egg is for binding it.

you could add some cornflour to your milk, that might help.

no, milk wont work. You could stick it on with mustard, if you like mustard.

Well have just made dd's with mayo and it's fine some did come off on the kitchen paper but probably more because I cut it up in there. Dd has given me a hug as her tea is yummy Grin

Interesting to use mayo instead of egg, but I guess that is the primary ingredient in mayo. Must remember this if I'm ever in such a pinch!

I dont ever have eggs in so never do the egg step. I just use a small rolling pin to roll the breadcrumbs into the meat or fish and refrigerate for a while to make sure they stick as well as possible.
