Doh, I never noticed it said on the side "not suitable for home freezing"
But its only baked potatoes with cheese (m & s).
How bad can it be to cook and eat them?
It's not as if it contains meat.
Should I risk it?

I think they put that on things that have, or part of it has, been frozen previously.

I would happily eat them, as long as they'd been reheated to piping hot.

I would, but I've got a cast iron stomach Grin - not sure what can go wrong with a potato and cheese, just might not taste as nice?

I ate some meat at the weekend that was at least a year old - the pack said it should be eaten within 3 months of freezing - I am still alive Grin.

I think some of the instructions are just retailers trying to cover themselves from legal action.

It won't be a "risk" reason, it is more likely to be because it will change the texture (might be more mushy, for example).

Heat it thoroughly, then eat it.
