Dried Active Yeast

I have some yeast and I've never used it before. I am going to make some pizza dough for tonight.

Once I have followed all the instructions, mixed it with warm water etc all the packet says is 'use as required in the recipe'.

Does this mean that I replace the water required in the recipe for an equal measure of the frothy stuff?

I have never used this one before and its the only one I could get my hands on at short notice.

Thanks in advance.

If your recipe requires 100ml of liquid, activate your yeast in 100ml hand-hot water with a little sugar and then add it at the appropriate point. With pizza dough that means making a well in the centre of your flour and then tipping in the yeasty liquid.

Thank you both for your help. I did it earlier and it was the best dough I've ever made.
