thought it would make a nice xmas dessert, had a look on the Nestle website but nothing jumped out at me. Can you recommend a recipe that incorporates it - otherwise I'll just have to eat it with a spoon out of the tin Xmas Blush

Thanks!

layer of coconut biscuits (whole)
layer of caramel
layer of whipped cream
keep layering until you have the whipped cream layer on top
grate dark peppermint chocolate over the cream
put it in the fridge for an hour

got to be banoffee pie!!!

buy a ready made flan case, add the caramel, slice bananas on top, cover with cream and decorate. Easy Peasy and very very tasty

Zenpom, that sounds quite nice, but where do I get coconut biscuits?

Supadupa, thanks for your post, but should have said that banoffee pie is out, can't stand bananas!

You just need a tin opener and a spoon

.

Oh, FairyBlueBell, there is nothing better than eating it straight from the tin with some shortbread as a spoon.

The co-op sell coconut biscuits but you can use any biscuits. Ginger nuts are nice too.

IIRC one of the jamie Oliver books has an apple pie thing that uses caramel on the base. I think pastry, then caramel, then sliced apples. you could do the same on a sheet of puff pastry, I reckon. Serve with cream or ice cream.

You can also swirl it through brownies before you cook them. Should you think that brownies are not already disgustingly sweet enough already (in a good way).

Or a spoon, yes.
