I have got some lovely little hamper baskets and am planning to make some stuff to go in them for presents.
Anyone got any idea as to what to make that does not need eating immediately?
Was thinking fruit cake, that keeps does'nt it.
Thanks in advance, am a complete novice :)

Fudge?
Treacle toffee?

Chutney, jam. Christmas Pudding Vodka (this years most anticipated drink in our household after getting the recipe on mn).

I'm making biscotti right now - chocolate and almond, and cranberry and pistachio. They keep for aaaaaages.

Tablet- mmm! You could have some bought stuff in too- miniatures of alcohol, small bottles of wine depending on who the recipient is of course!

I made some fudge today following the recipe on this Go on fudge yourself! It tastes divine, will wrap them up tomorrow for the dc's teachers!

Also made lemon curd to use up some lemons. Not a very high yield though for 3 lemons and 2 eggs. I only got a jar and a half but it's very simple.
