I'm making christmas tree cupcakes for the dc christmas faire on fri but the green dye I have for the buttercream is really wishy washy.

I want a really bright vibrant green. Any suggestions for one?

I think the brand I have is Wilton. It comes in a small tub and is quite thick, you use a cocktail stick to put a tiny amount in your icing and it gives a really bright, vibrant colour. They are pricy but last for ages (also brilliant for homemade play dough!)

I also use Wilton. The green one I have is "Leaf Green". Like NannyR says you just need a tiny amount on the end of the cocktail stick, then add a bit more if you need too.

Will put a pic on my profile of the Christmas cupcakes I made last week using that colour for the icing.

Does that come in a little white tub? I think I saw some while shopping last week.

I'll have a look at you pics when I can wrestle the laptop off dp sunshine Grin

I use sugarflair party green, it's really bright and a "happy" green!

Not a dark green foliage type green

I love your cakes sunshine! That's exactly what I'm hoping to do.

I'm planning a trip to hobby craft tomorrow anyway so I'll pick some up.

Thanks all!
